Public Relations and Recruitment Literature

  1. An Evening school advertising brochure. [1894?] (testimonial letters on page 5 all are dated 1894.)

  2. Single-fold advertising prospectus, 1899.

  3. A 1916 booklet presenting the new home of the college at Ninth and Tatnall. Entitled A Trip Thought Goldey College, it consists of 11 pages of photographs of the building and its classrooms.

  4. A Booklet titled Public Accountancy in Delaware, published by the college in 1937 and distributed free. A brief history of the certification of accountants in Delaware, the booklet lists the first 25 accountants to become CPA’s in Delaware and identifies 8 of them as Goldey College students. (3 copies)

  5. May 1, 1939 issue of Monthly Letter on Current Business Conditions, compiled by Prentice-Hall and distributed by Goldey college.

  6. A 1947 booklet presenting a chemical secretaryship course offered at Goldey College. The booklet presents a full description of course, endorsements by and photos and descriptions of the chemical industry in Wilmington. A letter from Jay W. Miler is enclosed.

  7. Four-page brochure featuring photos of 12 medical secretarial juniors available for summer work 1948. The brochure was mailed to doctors, dentists, and hospitals.

  8. A 1949-50 booklet titled Be a Specialist was published to present the College’s specialized curricula for medical, chemical, and air line secretaries. The 32-page booklet includes curricula and photos. (2 copies)
