Oct. 29 The official 22-page report of the Middle States Accreditation Team that visited the Campus Sept. 19-22 (2 copies)

Nov. ? The College's 19-page response to thh October report of the Middle States Accreditation Team. Undated, the report was submitted to Middle States on Nov. 10.

Dec. 11 Letter from Middle States informing President Brown of the accreditation of the College as of Dec. 11. The letter requests a follow-up report in 1978.

Dec. 17 Letter of congratulations and appreciation to all College personnel from the Board of Trustees.

Dec. ? Formal announcements of the College's accreditation on Dec. 11, 1976. (4 copies)

Winter, 1976-77 Issue of the Middles States Commission on Higher Education Letter. The accreditation of Goldey Beacom is announced on page 1.

1978

Sept. 29 The College's 35-page follow-up report presented to Middle States in 1978, as required in Middle States' letter of Dec. 17, 1976, that announced the College's accreditation. A photocopy of that letter is filed with the report.

1981

Sept. 2 Middle States letter to President William Baldt, listing the members of the evaluation team that will visit the College Oct. 4-7 for accreditation re-evaluation. In addition to detailing the qualifications of each team member, the letter states that the team will be particularly interested in ascertaining the effects of the College's introduction of four-year level degrees.

Sept. 29 Memo to faculty and staff re the Middle States team visit scheduled for October.

Oct. 1 The Middle States team schedule for Oct. 4-7 at Goldey Beacom.

Oct. ? A six-page directory of documents available to the evaluation team at the College.

Correspondence and reports related to the State of Delaware's approval of Goldey Beacom College to award the Bachelor of Science degree (March 31, 1978 - March 17, 1983) The Department of Public Instruction granted provisional approval on May 18, 1970, and full approval for a period of five years on March 17, 1983. (The five-year period to be effective Dec. 1981)

1978

Feb. 28 Goldey Beacom's 21-page application to the Delaware Department of Public Instruction for authority to confer the bachelor of science degree.

March 31 Letter to President Baldt from the Department of Public Instruction scheduling an on-site visit by an evaluation team for April 17, 1978. The Schedule is attached.

June 9 Seventeen-page confidential report of the evaluation team to President Baldt. (The handwritten notes on the report are President Baldt's.)

1979? Proposed Bachelor of Science Degree in Office Administration submitted by the College to the Delaware Department of Public Instruction.

1983

March 17 Department of Public Instruction letter granting full approval of the baccalaureate program Dec. 1981-Dec. 1986. (The College has received provisional approval on May 18, 1979.)

1987

Dec. 10 Letter to President Baldt from Division of Eligibility & Certification that campuses on Limestone Rd and in Wilmington & Milford, Delaware satisfies definition of eligible institutions of Higher Education.
